Janelle pledges to bring community, business experience, leadership and character to the office.

Janelle is a mother, entrepreneur and wife of a Marine veteran and law enforcement officer. She is also a successful mortgage loan officer at Land Home Financial Services. Her experience in these areas uniquely qualifies her to serve as the El Dorado County Recorder-Clerk.

As an entrepreneur and business woman, Janelle has been in the banking/mortgage industry since 1999.  This experience has given her an extensive knowledge with many of the documents processed by the Recorder-Clerk’s office.  Having owned a notary business she understands the dedication and attention to detail needed to be successful. Janelle also managed a mid-sized, non-profit organization. Her professional experiences demonstrate her leadership, management abilities and customer service skills.

Janelle believes in caring for others and giving back to this community. Just recently, Janelle was nominated as the Affiliate Director 2018-2019 by the El Dorado County Association of Realtors (EDCAR) and awarded the 2017 Affiliate of the Year by EDCAR.  She is an active member of the Cameron Park Rotary Club.  She has also lead and served on multiple committees that have raised money for local organizations including: “Honor Our Troops”, CASA, Hands 4 Hope, Big Brothers Big Sisters, El Dorado County Art & Music Programs, El Dorado Search and Rescue Council, Sierra Law Enforcement Chaplaincy, SCLAR Large Animal Emergency Evacuation, New Morning Youth & Family Services, Volunteers of America, and The Center for Violence-Free Relationships.

Janelle is a motivated, hardworking and ethical woman who loves her family and community.  In her first run as a candidate for this non-partisan office, she believes her fresh perspective and professional experience uniquely and adequately sets her apart.
